This Vaillant VP RW 45/2 decoupling buffer tank can be used to support central heating as well as in combination with passive or active cooling with a heat pump. This vapour-tight buffer tank - or return tank - has a capacity of 45 liters and is specially designed for installations with air/water or ground/water heat pumps. The buffer tank is suitable for the use of both active (below the dew point) and passive cooling (above the dew point) in combination with a heat pump.

The buffer vessel consists of a steel vessel with anti-corrosion protection (black lacquer layer), which is provided with high-quality thermal insulation made of polyurethane (PUR), combined with vapour-tight elastomeric foam insulation. The connections -4 connections on the left and 2 connections on the right- of the buffer tank are also fully insulated.
